# Connect your agent

Claude Code, Cursor or Codex, on your own account. Two minutes. It acts as you — exactly your permissions, never more.

## 1. Add Friday to your agent

Friday’s MCP address is the same for every workspace — signing in decides whose data your agent sees. In Claude Code, run this; other agents take the same address in their MCP configuration, also shown on **Connect agent** (Agents › Connections › Connect an agent).

```sh
claude mcp add --transport http friday https://mcp.kodiva.ai/friday
```

Use this MCP address, not the address of the Friday app: opening `/mcp` on the app in a browser brings you back to this page.

## 2. Approve it in the browser

The first time your agent reaches Friday, a browser tab opens asking you to approve it. The consent screen lists what it can do: **Read** (`friday:read`), **Make changes** (`friday:write`) and **Send email** (`friday:send`). Anything you can’t do is unticked and can’t be granted.

## 3. Give it a task

Ask in plain words — *score the new applicants on TRK-118*. Results land in Friday with your name and your agent’s on them. A Role DNA draft waits for your approval; a score you can change any time.

> **Revoke anytime.** Agents › Connections › Revoke. Past actions keep their label.
