# Email & limits

How Friday sends candidate email, the daily limit, and what happens when sending pauses.

## Sending

Candidate email goes out from Friday with nothing to set up. **Settings › Email & channels › Sending** shows the sending service, the From address candidates see, where replies go, the daily limit and the status.

## Daily limit

Each workspace can send **15,000 emails a day**, shared by everyone in it. The Daily limit row shows today’s usage, for example *860 of 15,000 today*, and the count starts again each day. Scheduled and bulk sends wait through quiet hours, 9 pm – 8 am.

## When sending pauses

Sending pauses on its own when bounces or complaints pass the workspace’s limits; the Status row then reads *Paused*, with the reason and the date. While it is paused nothing is sent, and your agent’s sends are refused with *Sending is paused for this workspace.* Kodiva staff resume it once the list is cleaned, and the reason is kept with the workspace. Contact Kodiva if your workspace is paused.

## Your agent and email

Your agent drafts email with **Make changes** (`friday:write`); sending needs **Send email** (`friday:send`). Every send counts against the same daily limit.
